What are the lifestyle opportunities in and around Camarillo, California. Are there hiking clubs, biking trails, civic clubs, golf clubs, local arts and theater, lakes, streams, fishing, boating, camping or other types of lifestyle opportunities?

Camarillo offers a fabulous lifestyle with temperate climates year around to enjoy these activities. There are many golf courses including Saticoy, Spanish Hills Country Club, Las Posas, Sterling Hills and in nearby Westlake Village North Ranch Country Club and Sherwood Country Club. Plenty of golf! We have miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails and the Santa Rosa Valley neighborhood is predominantly horse zoned lots minimum one acre. In the Santa Rosa Valley section of Camarillo we have the Santa Rosa Riders Club which means regularly for horseback rides, lunches, etc. We have lots of community theatre and fifteen minutes away in Thousand Oaks we have the Civic Arts Plaza home to plays, concerts and the like. We have a symphony, civic clubs and best of all, we are just 15 to 20 minutes from the beach! We are approximately 45 minutes from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Music Center in Downtown Los Angeles, 40 minutes approximately from Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, two hours from Palm Springs and about two hours from ski resorts. We are well located about half way between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
